Olympic gold medalist and tennis legend Venus Williams is just unbeatable out on the court. Having graduated with a degree in fashion and design, Williams used her education as well as her business acumen to start two companies, the eight-year-old clothing line EleVen and her own interior design firm known as V Starr Interiors which she launched in 2002.
Starting the company with just five designers and a design director did seem like a risky move at the time. But since Williams was never one to bow out from a challenge, her company was able to succeed in such a way that Venus is now called upon to design and decorate multi-million dollar condos, resorts and learning centers.
